Nightingale Patient Advocates is expanding into Philadelphia and nearby Pennsylvania counties. For me, this is a natural next step. It is also a return home.
I spent more than 30 years working in emergency medicine, trauma, and critical care. Much of that time was at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. As a busy teaching hospital, Einstein helped shape the nurse and patient advocate I am today.
Why Teaching Hospitals Matter
Teaching hospitals bring people together to learn. Residents train there, while new nurses build their skills. Meanwhile, education remains part of daily patient care.
This shared learning creates a strong team. People collaborate, think critically, and keep improving. At the same time, experienced nurses offer a steady source of knowledge and support.
Many of these nurses stay for years. As residents come and go, they help keep care consistent. They also mentor new nurses and watch for changes in a patient’s condition.
Just as importantly, they speak up about safety concerns. Their experience makes them trusted resources for the entire healthcare team.
Over 20, 25, or 30 years, nurses gain remarkable skill. Bedside experience builds confidence and sound judgment. It also helps them recognize complications early. That kind of insight comes from decades of caring for patients.
I stood beside these nurses. I learned from them, trusted them, and respected them.
That is why I want nurses of this caliber to represent Nightingale Patient Advocates.
Bringing Nightingale Patient Advocates to Pennsylvania
I founded Nightingale in South Florida to support patients and families. My mission is to provide experienced, independent RN advocacy during life’s most vulnerable moments.
Now, that mission is growing. Returning to Pennsylvania feels natural because I know the nurses there. I worked alongside them and saw their experience, dedication, and commitment to excellent care.
Most of all, I would trust them to advocate for my own family.
Nightingale Patient Advocates is coming home to Philadelphia, Montgomery County, and Bucks County. Together, we bring decades of bedside experience and a shared commitment to patient safety.
Sometimes, the strongest path forward leads right back to where it all began.
